Adam Zinatelli has been Principal Trumpet of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra since 2009, and has performed as guest Principal Trumpet with the National Arts Centre Orchestra and Les Violons du Roy. He studied at the Glenn Gould School with Andrew McCandless, and the Cleveland Institue of Music with Michael Sachs. Adam is a Yamaha Artist.

Adam Zinatelli is immensely proud to present this long-dreamed-of project to you. Every piece on this album is a premiere recording; at the time of release some of the works have not yet even been performed publicly. The wide-ranging voices of the composers featured here demonstrate the richness of musical creation that is happening right now. The works also explore the composer’s inspiration in writing for the trumpet as a solo instrument, with its unsurpassedly vast and varied expressive range.
