Brigitte Poulin
Montreal-based, Brigitte Poulin is an active and accomplished soloist, chamber musician, accompanist and teacher whose repertoire covers all periods from the invention to the deconstruction of the piano.
This year she recorded two albums distributed by Leaf music Játékok – György Kurtág for solo piano and Sayeh-Roshan dedicated to the creation of Persian works, with Ali Yazdanfar
Her most notable recent collaborations include participation in Stravinsky’s Les Noces with the OSM (K. Nagano, cond.) in Schoenberg’s Pierrôt Lunaire with Patricia Kopatchiskaya (sprechgesang), in Schubert’s Trio in Bb with Annalee Patipatanakoon and Lynn Harrell as well as 2 recitals with Silvia Mandolini at the Venice Biennale.
Brigitte Poulin teaches and collaborates as an accompanist at The Schulich music School of McGill University. As well, she is an active member of the Summer Academy of Orford Music. She is regularly called upon to adjudicate for Music Festivals across Canada.
Her most recent CD recordings include: Folklore imaginaire music by Ana Sokolović (Naxos), with Ensemble Transmission Pierrot lunaire (Atma), and Édifices Naturels (Dame for solo piano . Her performances can be heard on Naxos Records, Spotify and YouTube.

Brigitte enseigne et collabore comme accompagnateur à l’École Schulich de l’Université McGill. Elle enseigne le piano aux plus jeunes à l’École de musique de Verdun. De plus, elle est membre du corps académique d’Orford musique. Elle est régulièrement appelée à prendre part comme membre de jury à différents concours de musique canadiens.
